There is no such thing as a merrier Christmas-holiday than a Disney Christmas-holiday. Period. Although I’m not really the jolly, olly, Christmassy-person, I really like the atmosphere in the park during the Christmas Season. It doesn’t get any more magical than this.
On Boxing day 2015, our ‘Irish’ friends took us with them for a magical day in the Disneyland Park. For Christophe, it was his first visit here, so it was extra magical. Ready for some photo’s?
Only 5 minutes in the park before our first character encounter! Chip ‘nd Dale just got out of their tree, and were waiting for us at Casey’s Corner. There was no line at all – the perks of going after characters when the park opens – so we got to meet them very quickly! BIG HUUUUUUUUUUUUG!
During Christmas-season, the park is dressed up at its best. Main Street USA is covered with snow and Christmas decorations, which adds up to the Christmas Spirit! They even planted a big Christmastree, that is lit up beautifully when it gets dark!
We also spotted a lot of characters that day! All of them were characters I’ve never seen before. Maybe it was a coincidence, but I had the feeling that there are more characters present in the park during the Christmas season. Can anyone confirm this? Or am I just imagining things? Nevertheless, I had the privilege to meet some new Disney friends!
We’re going back in February – without Christophe though – to check out the new ‘Season of the Force’ theme, so we hope to spot some new Disney characters and provide you with some new Disney-tastic pictures!
Hyper-space Mountain, here we come!
